What's Hot

AMANDA'S BILL
This Legislative act is the responsibility of the county. It is not a mandate.

The election cost must be addressed. The election will cost the counties millions of dollars only to  reimbursed $3 million.

Status offenders: Should we lock up juveniles for things that actually are not a crime?

Death penalty:  Should we have a death sentence in a place where there is not a perfect justice system?

Revenues streams for local governments: Sale tax takes a constitutional amendment little chance of passage. What other revenue can be raised, “Fees”?

What happens if evidence based sentencing does not work?

What is going to be the answer to the illegal aliens: Stop them at the border or put them in a county jail or just nothing?

What's next?

The Good Committee report issued.
The report was mailed to all counties and legislators.
Ways you can get involved in fighting illegal drugs was at the core of the report.

Controlling Constables
Now there are editorials in support of controlling the constables or removing them from the constitution all-together.
Supporting these editorials and riding the public sentiment is a good thing and possibility a start to get control of the constables.
Constables are a growing problem. Finding ways to control them is a priority.
